If her 2002 tour really was her last--and after being "an evil frickin' diva for 40 frickin' years," as she puts it, she just might mean it--Cher has definitely left us something to remember her by. In the course of this 92-minute concert (plus loads of extra features), she wears enough different costumes and wigs to outfit a small (if rather odd) town, surrounds herself with dancers and acrobats galore, shows clips from her old TV series, and even plays all the roles in a delightful mini-version of West Side Story (one of the extras). Oh, and she sings too, covering everything from the Sonny & Cher years to her early solo career and her renaissance as a disco diva via "Believe." Bottom line: The Farewell Tour is a dynamic, sometimes silly, always entertaining show. As Cher herself notes, Britney, J-Lo, and all the others have a tough act to follow. --Sam Graham

This is the best concert of CHER.......2007-07-26

i really enjoy this concert, and this dvd has a extraordinary features, you could see a Cher telling you her comments about the show, is really great. if you like Cher you probably could cry with this concert but it worth it, i`m not the best cher fan, but i always enjoy her music, i started to follow her since Believe cd, but i knew a lot of her classics songs, and this is the best of this concert she sings all the classics songs, and the songs who made her a true diva.
P.S. the clothes is amazing!

This is a dynamic DVD. Everything that Cher does is just Cher! She is beautiful in her costumes. Her songs are the ones that we have loved for years. The entire casting is special and I know if you like Cher as she appeared on TV., you are going to love this DVD. It truly is a collector's item. I purchased three: one for myself and two for gifts and the two gift recepients absolutely love this.

I WAS SOMEWHAT INDIFFERENT TO CHER'S MUSIC DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE GENERAL TYPE OF MUSIC I LISTEN TO IS PINK FLOYD, BAD COMPANY, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, AND THE LIKE, BUT, I AM ALWAYS VERY OPEN TO ALL MUSIC, IN FACT I LOVE SHAINA TWAIN QUITE A BIT, AND THEY WERE PRE-TEENS WHEN SHE WAS ON TOP OF THE MUSIC WORLD, BUT DUE TO THE FACT THAT SHE WAS AN ICON, YOU'VE GOT TO GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE, SO I FIGURED THERE MUST BE SOMETHING TO HER, MY WIFE LOVES CHER, SO I THOUGHT I WOULD TAKE HER TO A NICE CHER CONCERT, WELL I'LL TELL YOU WHAT, IT WAS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC ! I'M A FORMER NATIONAL TOURING GUITARIST AND ATTENDED MUSIC COLLEGE AND HER GUITARIST WAS LOUD AND PROUD, HE WAS GREAT ! BUT WHAT OF CHER ? I WILL INDEED REPEAT, FANTASTIC !
