Sweet Toronto- The best music for the best cause.......2006-12-27
In 1969 the Beatles were on the virge of a breakup and their leader John Lennon had teamed musically with Yoko Ono, an avante garde vocalist. This historical DVD showcases their first mainstream peformance together ( they had performed earlier in the year, see Life with the Lions) as well as a few other performances from the anti-war festival their performance was taken from. Read on for the meat of the review. The DVD was exeptional! What a great concert it must have been; I'm sorry this DVD doesn't have the full thing. Picture and sound are very good for footage of this age and the musical highlights are many. Johhny B. Goode ( Chuck Berry), Lucille ( Little Richard), Hound Dog ( J.L. Lewis)and Dizzy Lizzy performed by Lennon are but a few ; read further for a more complete listing. 1. Bo Diddley by Bo Diddley of course is nothing exeptional to me but the guitar work is great and its a real dance tune and fun! 4/5 stars. 2. Hound Dog- performed here with great energy by Jerry Lee Lewis: great instrumental solos and vocals but overall a little short by comparison to other performances, 4.5/5 stars. Johhny B. Goode by Chuck Berry: one of my favs playing one of his greatest plus the guitar work and signature 'duck walk', 5/5 easy. Lucille by Little Richard: another classic rock 'n'roll performance from the man who was Long Tall Sally and Slipin' and Slidn'and vocally it's classic L.R. ,5/5 Blue Swede (sp?) Shoes performed by John Lennon: Energetic, great guitar by E. Clapton, the wonderful words and an exiting starter, 4.5/5. Money ( that's what I want): so John wasn't perfect with the lyrics, big deal , it's still a great rock'n'roller although it worked even better with Paul and George screaming in the backround- 4.5/5 Dizzy Miss Lizzy : John performances this song with such zeal and engergy, the words and tune are great and John is so good on it and so rousing ;it also features more great work by Eric-5/5. Yer Blues-pretty good Lennon song with great words, tune and guitar, oh and Yoko's vocalizations DO add something to this intensely personal song: 5/5 Cold Turkey- Lennon plays it for the first time although Eric'guitar could be louder and although you feel Lennon's pain, it's not as intense as the studio version, 4/5. Give Peace a Chance- a live version of the anti-war Lennon classic great with a wonderful message, 5/5 ( no matter if he forgot the lyrics, he was making it up as he went along on the original) . Don't Worry Kyoko - Yoko's opening number and for her pretty good, if breif -it really works, great beat and melody and Yoko's signauture vocals , 4/5. John John , Let's Hope For Peace- the finale, and I haven't heard it all the way through but I didn't dig what I heard all that much although the guitar work seemed good. A generous 3/5 for Yoko. Peace, Peace, Peace! Love, Love Love ! ( Chuck Berry, 1969.
Three Acts and Rare Presence.......2006-07-06
Sweet Toronto...ah yes! Bo Diddly, Jerry LEEe, CHUCK BERRY, and the Little Devil Himself (Little Richard);are well worth the price of this DVD,and then some. To see them at this point of space/Time...and their "Top Hat", 50s Hippie-Rocker Roller, Sterling preformances, is a Keep-Sake. John had his Magical Mystery Hat on, in arranging for them to be there.
Johnny's Presence, guitar, Voice, and "signature", is also Star Striking ! As for Yoko.... well...thats Called "ART", and Eric Clapton is a very Kind Friend To John Lennon.
This Segment of the Film MUST BE Viewed, atleast once. Persona
Gratis, and the First Preformance of "Give Peace a Chance", besides other Charms, are well worth it. John was not my Favorate Beatle, sadly to say (most of his Life was Really..Tragic), But the Beatles and his solo music could not be seperated. OWN THIS FILM...now !!
For Lennon fans only.......2006-05-27
"errr...this is what we came for really....
ELLYELSHAN!!
It's errr... give peace a chance so, sing along will ya. I've forgotton all those bits in between, but I know the chorus so"...
Nuff said....
Short But Not Sweet.......2006-01-20
If you're curious about this event this dvd may be more than you need to know. Be warned Yoko is nearly unlistenable.
She does have a lot of good songs that can be found on the ONOBOX but here she just wails tunelessly on Yer Blues and Cold Turkey. It is fun however to see if you can watch the dvd all the way through without someone else telling you to shut it off.
The Chuck Berry ,Little Richard, and Jerry Lee Lewis clips are all cool but i'd really love to see the Alice Cooper Group performance from the same day.
Yoko destroys it all.......2006-01-10
For the true Lennon fan this concert represents an interesting look at the Plastic Ono Band and at a period in which Lennon redefined his style. The concert as a whole must have been great, because of the atmosphere and all the great musicians. Lennons performance is clearly below average (as is the quality of the footage), but a below average Lennon concert still gets 4 stars. The only thing that totally ruins it for me, is Yoko's performance at the end. The whole spirit of the evening is destroyed by her barking and out of tune screaming. I can't understand where she got the guts (and the ego) to pull of something like this, and why the audience didn't revolt (maybe they still hoped for some music from John)? John visibly gets uneasy during the end of her performance, nervous and probably embarassed by her. I would have loved to have a DVD with the complete concert, and with Yoko edited out (just like the CD version). I would have given 4 stars if it wasn't for that screaming pigmee.

If you're a true Blondie fan, of course you have to own it. Recorded in 1982, it's probably the closest you'll ever come to seeing a concert recorded just before Blondie stopped touring and recording not long after release of The Hunter. As such, the performances are fair to middlin' on most songs. Frank Infante isn't even present.
Personally, I like the energy and enthusiasm of the Glasgow concert and the Musikladen videos better than this one.
And if you haven't already purchased the Eat to the Beat CD/DVD...don't even think of buying this before you've purchased that one!
High point: probably the performance of War Child has the most energy.
Low point: Frank Infante's replacement seems to be singing background vocals annoyingly off key in spots.

Not A Disappointment.......2007-08-10
Let me begin by saying I am a long-time fan (not rabid) of this band. I can still remember the second blowout show in Montreal in '91 for their "Road Apples" album. The first night's show had been panned by a local big music scene critic. The gist of the review was his belief that the Hip had lost their "nitty gritty edge". After coming on stage and dropping in, straight from the hip (pun intended), with a handful of back-to-back, stomach-crunching rock songs, Gordie then mentions the review in the Gazette, which most people of course have read, and then asks the crowd if *they* think the Hip's lost their edge.
At this point, the crowd was totally into it and cheered and screamed for what seemed like forever. Heck, I still remember it 16 years later!
That's the Tragically Hip. They don't go on stage and revisit/lip-synch their material. Many of the bad reviews here seem to expect a regurgitation of the album. They want to hear the album again, but live. That's just *not* the Hip and has never been so. They perform in the true sense of the word; their shows extend the Hip "experience", instead of simply repeating the digitized audio.
Basically, they are true musicians and poets that have never forgotten to reach out to their audience.
On the down side, the quality of the DVD footage is not that great. It's good, but not the best I have heard. The music is not carefully balanced and recorded, even for a concert source.
All in all, if you are a long-time fan who has seen them live, you should really like the DVD. I did.
Better each time you watch it!.......2007-08-02
If you think Tragically Hip is a good recording band, you'll love them live, and every time you watch this concert you'll enjoy it even more. A great band, a great performance, and a great value. Well worth the money.
Excellent.......2007-06-08
I really enjoy this DVD, the "Hip" at their best, in concert.
A good selection of songs and an excellent snap shot of a tight band in a concert environment stretching and having fun with songs that they've played many times before.
What an ego.......2007-05-17
I love this band's studio stuff and was excited at the prospect of acquiring this live show. The first issue is the audio mix, it is poor with the guitars very much in the background. Next is my biggest issue, the singer talks over the solos, sings out of key, barks like a dog and in general ruins the show. In the song 100th Meridian (which is a great song), he starts off okay but very quickly strays off into a bunch of ranting, comes back briefly to the original content and it ends. Zero satisfaction for somebody wanting to hear to anything remotely close to the original tune. This is just one example. Simply put, the singer ruins this show.
I will say that it is a very nicely shot DVD and the band (aside from Gord?) is top notch. With that said, I cannot sit through it again and will be pitching this one in the rubbish bin.
Huge disappointment.......2007-04-17
I've loved the Hip for years, and always heard how amazing they are live. But personally this DVD leaves me less of a fan.
First off, the mix is all wrong for a rock band. The vocals and the drums are much louder than the rest of the band. The guitars and bass are buried, it's as if the teeth and bite were taken out of the guitars. What guitar you can hear is very muted, and the solos seem like quick afterthoughts before Gord starts shouting again. Hip CDs sound (mixed) completely different, they are guitar heavy, with a mix of rockers and subtle, emotional ballads, (this is rock band after all), which is what I was expecting here...but not so.
That alone was enough to disappoint me. But also Downie should take it down a notch and let the music do the talking. He never shuts up and is so overbearing with his delivery that the music becomes secondary to his rants. I read somewhere how charismatic he is, is that what you call it?? I call it distracting, the Hip is much more than he and he alone, shut up and let the band play. There are a couple of bright moments towards the end but not enough to make up for the poor production and Gord's overbearing overenthusiastic shouting. I skipped through it trying to find the emotion of the CDs, but I gave up. I agree with reviewer Skipjack, if this is how the Hip sounds live i'll stick with the cds.

Like most festival shows, the Toronto Rocks concert, a SARS benefit held on July 30, 2003 before a teeming crowd of 490,000, is a pretty mixed bag. For one thing, the Guess Who, Rush, AC/DC, and the Rolling Stones--the headliners--are all well past their primes. They're still kicking, of course, and fans of each will relish their sets. But no headliner save Rush exudes the freshness and spark evident in the tantalizing snippets of the performances we don't see on this single-disc DVD: Canadian acts like Blue Rodeo, the Tea Party, and Sass Jordan (with a still-riveting Jeff Healey on guitar). The Stones command more than their fair share of screen time, and some would say they've earned it. Meanwhile, we're also served three helpings of Dan Aykroyd and Jim Belushi's ho-hum Have Love Will Travel revue. Who steals the show? The Isley Brothers, led by founding singer Ronald and axeman Ernie, who blaze through "Who's That Lady" and their classic "Shout" with a band of lock-tight musicians and dancers.
The DVD includes the kind of full-size color booklet every concert disc should come with, a choice of Dolby Digital 5.1 surround and uncompressed PCM stereo sound (both great), and a dose of "bonus" backstage ballyhoo. A unique extra is the director's broadcast call of the camera shots for AC/DC's "Thunderstruck," revealing the frantic, real-time demands of a live shoot. --Michael Mikesell
Description
On July 30, 2003, close to a half a million people gathered in Toronto for one of the most spectacular concerts of all time in fact, the largest ticketed single-day event in history. The Rolling Stones headlined the show, accompanied by 13 other acts, including AC/DC, Rush, the Guess Who, and Justin Timberlake. Now, this amazing day has been captured on DVD.
Customer Reviews:
Unexpected Surprise.......2007-07-10
This has fast become one of my favourite concerts - and I really didn't expect it. I own so much music now I'm not in a big rush to buy more as I seldom get much chance to watch what I do own. I got interested mainly because of a couple of bands I thought I ought to like, but don't really: Rush and AC/DC. I already have plenty Stones. I enjoy festival DVDs because it's an opportunity to listen to a few songs by bands and decide whether or not to get more. And for some reason, I like the outdoor daylight festivals.
In the end I bought this for the lamest of reasons - because of Justin Timberlake, whom I actually loathe. But I have two young daughters, and it's been a standing joke between us that when I call Timberfart a fag they respond by calling Mick Jagger a fag (compliments of his otherwise outstanding performance on Rock n Roll Circus, where he is undeniably camp).
So it seemed too ironic to have our two fags singing a duet on one DVD and I had to get it. But if the reason for getting it was spurious, my enjoyment is not. Even JT isn't anywhere near as bad as I expected. Nonetheless, when I play this DVD I start with The Guess Who. I don't know who the Flaming Lips are and who persuaded their front man he could sing, but they are awful. They belong on Teletubbies. The Guess Who is another band I knew absolutely nothing about, other than American Woman, and sure enough they play a scorching version. I still have no idea about what The Guess Who is really about, because their second song reminds me of Crosby, Stills & Nash. Two completely different songs.
Rush is another mystery. I've bought two Rush albums in the past and swapped them both. I KNOW this is a band I ought to like because if fits right in with my taste in music, but I've not got there yet. Still, I like their performance here.
The revelation for me was AC/DC, whom I literally have never listened to before. I like Classic Rock but not Heavy Metal much, but the performance here was electric, and this is now a band I'm looking to explore further.
The Stones performance is one of the better, but as I said I'm rather spoilt for choice when I want to watch them. Still, it was nice to contrast the high octane visual performance of later Stones compared to the more laid back performance they gave in their earlier years. Maybe it's just the bigger sized stages they perform on today. Ron Wood struck me as an unnecessary appendage to their performance, and trying too hard to be interesting.
One major reason I like the Stones: living in South Africa (when I speak to Americans they usually ask "Where's that?" duh!) decent bands NEVER visit this country. In the past 15 years I can recall only two top flight bands: Rolling Stones and Jethro Tull. And usually the only reason they do so is to be able to say they've played on every continent. Being a predominantly black country, of course we get no end of rap artists. You guys who live in the US and UK don't know how lucky you are to live in a country when you can see the likes of the Allman Brothers 20 times or more.
Toronto Rocks.......2007-01-12
I didn't care for a few of the groups, or Justin Timberlakes style of music. However I loved watching AC/DC. I've never been a fan of theirs, but I bought the video to watch them again after originally checking the video out from the library. The Stones were great too.
What I liked about the video made the purchase worth while.

the product never I arrive, him requeri the information about the shipment but never me they provided it, so the salary bought in amazon was a bad experience, thus I recommend not to buy in this site.
great.......2007-01-09
I love it I was at this show and this is a great DVD the only thing I dont like is that there is only 3 AC\DC songs on the DVD and at the show AC\DC played about 13 songs and AC\DC put on a better show than the stones but this is still a great DVD
Decent concert compliation at a good price.......2005-12-23
In 2003, Toronto's tourism industry was crippled by exaggerated reports that the disease SARS was running rampant. To lure tourist dollars back into the city and prove that all was safe as milk, several major classic rock bands agreed to appear at the reasonably priced music festival. This DVD contains roughly two hours of highlights from that 12 hour festival.
The DVD isn't perfect. Dan Ackroyd is the show's emcee and he unfortunately dusts off his tired "Blues Brothers" schtick one too many times. (Yes, I know neither he nor Jim Belushi don shades or cheap suits but that has more to do with the concert being held at the end of a very hot July). Sheesh, where's Mike Myers when you need him? Absolutely nothing accounts for Justin Timberlake's presence; even if Timberlake were a competant performer - which he isn't - this Canadian crowd is solidly in the classic rock camp and wouldn't be interested anyway. Also, considering this is a Canadian show, comparatively few of the Canadian acts that appeared on the bill are also on the DVD.
However, the bulk of the concert is definitely enjoyable. The Flaming Lips are as goofily surreal as ever. The Isley Brothers provide some much-needed grit to the proceedings, and give us a chance to watch Ernie Isley chew up the stage with his Jimi Hendrix paraphrasings. The Guess Who's reunion is rather bloated but treats us to an excellent live version of "No Time." Rush are a sheer joy, blasting through relatively straightforward versions of "Free Will" and "Spirit of the Radio." It's some of the best live Rush recorded in the past few years. AC/DC get fairly limited screen time (and Angus Young's guitar isn't mixed loud enough) but it's exciting seeing these Aussies rile up the crowd for the main attraction. The Rolling Stones get most of the time on this DVD, and provide us with what we expect from latter-day Rolling Stones. The Stones take every stage they perform on as though they own it and if the set list isn't as imaginative as you'd like, you still have to acknowledge that the Stones have become the most consistently professional and dependable of their peers. Besides, Keith Richards swaggers around as though he's having the time of his life here. The only downside? Timberlake duets with Jagger on "Miss You." Ugh.
Given the price and the sheer variety of artists here, the DVD is an excellent purchase if you're looking for a classic rock sampler. Used copies of this 2003 concert can be easily found, adding to the bargain. This can't compare in historical significance to either Woodstock or Live Aid, but it's one heck of an entertaining show to watch.

PRETTY COOL CONCERT FILM! STONES, RUSH & MORE!.......2007-06-29
I bought this for the Stones and Rush footage, but found much more on this 2 disc set. It would be nice to have the entire show, but I'm happy with it for the most part. There are some cool extras on this set and I loved Neil Peart meeting Charlie Watts! Neil looked like he just met his idol! This set is worth picking up.
Very dumb move to not release the 1st disc outside of Canada.......2004-11-09
I don't understand this. From day one, I thought this was a very dumb move. I don't understand why they couldn't have just released the double CD set outside of Canada, too. I don't see how that could have hurt the sales, in any way. Anyway, it does seem like it was done that way - because they figured that non-Canadians are, somehow, not capable of liking Canadian music. Why did they do it like this? What purpose does it serve? Do these people think that non-Canadians are somehow unworthy of listening to the Canadian acts that are barely known outside of Canada?
could have been much better.......2004-10-29
I don's get it. Are you not trying to sell this DVD? Most people like me who have bought the DVD did so because they were at the concert. This DVD give Sass Jordon more stage time then AC/CD or the The Guess Who. I have to give credit to Jeff Healy who played on one of S Jordon's numbers. He stole the show. I couldn't understand why he was not one of the main performers, instead of the other fillers. At the concert my wife convinced me to take my son for a bathroom break. It took almost an hour and I missed the Guess Who doing 'taking care of business'. Guess what this song is not on the DVD. You still have some great performances from Blue Rodeo, The Guess Who, AC/DC and of course the Rolling Stones on this DVD. Thank God this is a DVD so you can go directly to your favourite performances.
Pretty decent, but lousy recording of AC/DC.......2004-10-16
First of all, there should have been a lot more of AC/DC on this DVD. By all accounts they were the best band of the night. All in all, the sound quality on the DVD is pretty good, I just have one question: WHAT KIND OF FOOL RECORDS A LIVE AC/DC PERFORMANCE AND MAKES ANGUS' GUITAR THE QUIETEST THING ON STAGE? You can't even hear Angus over the other instruments!
Great music, Great sound ...too short though.......2004-08-05
This is a great DVD. The sound and picture quality are top notch. Also, the music featured in these two discs is spectacular. If I was completely objective, I would have rated this item 5 stars ...but i'm not since I was one of 490,000 who attended this concert.
My criticism of this DVD does not concern what they put in, but rather what has been left out. This DVD only contains the abridged version of the Toronto Rocks ("SarsStock") concert.
Pretty much everyone's set (except for the Rolling Stone's set) has been truncated. Only two songs from AC/DC's set are featured here, which is very disappointing because they were by far the best band of the night (I'm not even an AC/DC fan, but they were just that good.)
So my recommendation is this, if you weren't there, you will be impressed by the quality of this DVD (the music itself and the sound and picture quality). If you were there, it would probably still be worth getting for nostalgia, and to be able to see some of the performances up close and with clearer sound, however you might be disappointed because this item contains only bits and pieces of the one of the best rock concerts in Canadian history.

Then, the DVD features Live At Hugh's Room, filmed July 12 2003 and featuring the songs Ghosts, MacLean Street, Who Knows Where The Time Goes, Flying, The Hangman And The Papist, Autumn, Deep Summer's Sleep, The Winter Long, Remembering, You And I (When We Were Young), Out In The Cold, Round And RTound, Hero And Heroine and Simple Visions.
Customer Reviews:
If you liked the Acoustic Strawbs CD, there are more great tracks on this DVD.......2005-09-07
Okay, the first topic on the agenda would be why you would check out "Acoustic Strawbs Live in Toronto" if you already have the CD "Acoustic Strawbs: Baroque & Roll." Both feature Dave Cousins, Dave Lambert and Brian Willoughby on acoustic guitar (and banjo for Cousins at one point as well as an electric guitar for Lambert on one song) so it is the same trio playing the same type of music. The answer is that there is remarkable little overlap between the two play lists. Both have "Remembering/You and I (When We Were Young" and "Ghosts," and that is it. The CD has "Tears and Pavan" and the Strawbs encore duo of "The River" and "Down by the Sea" from the old days, but I think the songs on the DVD provide a better selection overall of songs, recorded at Hugh's Room in Toronto in 2003. "Autumn/Deep Summer's Sleep/The Winter Long" stands out as does "Flying" and "Out in the Cold/Round and Round" along with "Hero and Heroine" (with Lambert on bodhran no less to really turn it into a high energy folk rock song).
In fact, the boys seem to be going out of their way to do some of their best songs form the period when John Hawken was playing awesome mellotron for the Strawbs to show that they work just fine stripped down to acoustic guitars (or there about). I even like "The Hangman and the Papist" without the driving drums. I have maintained for some time that the Strawbs were at their best when Hawken played with them and that when he left the group took a noticeable nose dive, but listening to these songs played just on acoustic guitar does give me pause (I will not change my basic position, but it is hard to argue with the effectiveness of these performances: try remembering that "Hero & Heroine" is a big time keyboard piece once you hear this version). There is also a poignant tribute to the memory of Sandy Denny when Cousins sings "Who Knows Where the Time Goes."
The DVD begins with Cousins taking a trip down memory lane in West London to show where he grew up, how the band got its original name of the Strawberry Hill Boys, and some of the places they played. During the concert part of the DVD there are some exterior shots and on "You and I (When We Were Young)" we flash back to Cousins and Lambert on stage a quarter-decade back; they still sound the same and Lambert still has the frosted lock of hair, although Cousins is now shaved and gray. The Acoustic Strawbs are pretty impressive, and now the final item on the agenda is when will they release a second album, live or in the studio again, that puts more of what is on this DVD on a CD album, because clearly playing the old songs this way is not simply a change of pace for a one time appearance on MTV, but a new stage in the evolution of the group.
It's the music that counts.......2005-05-29
The production values are barely above a home video (although the audio quality is good), but some of the performances here are very strong, better on the whole than the "Acoustic Strawbs" studio CD. Mellotron anthems like "Autumn" and "Hero and Heroine" work surprising well in these "stripped to the bone" guitar versions, and Cousins' voice is in really good form for this show, better than much of what he's released in the last few years. Other standouts are "Simple Visions", "Hangman and the Papist" and the "bonus track" (whatever that means) of "We'll Meet Again Sometime" from Cousins' "Two Weeks Last Summer" album. The real knockout, however is their rendition of Sandy Denny's classic "Who Knows Where the Time Goes", uniquely interpeted and a touching tribute.
An interesting extra is the segment "In the Beginning", where primarily Cousins takes us to important locations in the band's formative years when they were The Strawberry Hill Boys. It's fun, but it makes you wish that he'd had reminisced about the evolution into The Strawbs, with it's folk prog heydays in the '70s.
If you still have an interest in this band (and you probably do, if you're reading this) the DVD is a good addition to their studio CDs and one of their stronger releases of recent times.

Live 8 Toronto DVD a dissapointment for the Masses.......2006-01-03
Well I went to the concert and the whole time while I was watching it, I was glade they where coming out with a dvd because DVD can HOLD lots and LOTS AND LOTS of information and why would they cheap out and not put every artist with every song on here why I WOULD BE 100$ I don't care I want to see it all. And well I waited months and months, wondering waiting for it to come out, I went there with 3 other friends and it was the thing of a life time. Then it was time the P%$%# @%#T DVD of the century. THank you EMI for destroying a historial document so you can get all your SIGNED Contracts on to your DVD. Well now all I have to do is use my Time Machine and Get a tape ready and tape the Damn concert. Wait TIme machines doen't exist well now I am going ot have to go underground to get it. But wait I still $100 will EMI Release all the videos on DVD or do we have to go underground to get it from someone who tapped it and is selling it. All I can say this is why the internet was invented for INFORMATION EXCHANGE. If they keep information paticularly this Historical Document from people, they will share it over the internet. The video doesn't belong to 1 Company it belongs to the world, the world created this and WHO does EMI think they are by limiting this. I am so sick and tired of this utter B$%# @#$T. No one should settle for this, I demand more and Everyone should demand more also.3 Billion People watched 1 million spectaters. And what does EMI Tell you, they will put the crappiest DVD together and then make everyone take the videos down of there website. I believe I shall find them all and put them up on Wikipedia because it isn't 1 Person who owns the worlds creation. Anyone who believes in this should know what it means to them Every Extra CEnt of this DVD should go to AFrica and it doesnt it and its a Bloody shame. All I can say Is I am making sure this goes on to Every Review for this damned DVD untill something is done about it.

could a been great.......2005-11-16
What's here is good but why only one or two songs from the handfull of big name acts? You know, the performers people bought this dvd to see? You get 20 acts represented, most of which no one outside of Toronto has ever heard of, and performers like Motley Crue, Bruce Cockburn and Gordon Lightfoot only get one song each. If you're going to put out a full priced dvd of a concert like this it should be more than a sampler. There's room for another hour on this disc.
