Vintage Rock and Roll .......2007-08-12
This is an absolute killer display of grass-roots rock and roll. The cats are better than ever. By the time you make it through the concert you will be spent. This is pure energy all the way through. This may be the best display of all to showcase Mr. Setzer's unmatched guitar virtuosity. Brian can play any style you want and play it better than anyone else. Lee rocker and Slim Jim are very entertaining. This is all about the music, and you can tell they love to play it. I can't really describe how good this is. If you like rockabilly, blues, boogie woogie or just plain old rock and roll you will not be dissapointed. If you want to watch a master guitarist at his best, get this dvd.
Best Stray Cats DVD ... Ever!.......2007-08-06
I have always been a Stray Cats fan since the first time I heard them in back the early 80's. When Brian Setzer went on to lead and record with the Brian Setzer Orchestra, I remained a fan but always missed the "Rockabilly on Steroids" sound of Brian, his 1959 Gretsch, and the rest of of the Stray Cats emsemble (Lee Rocker & Jim Phantom). This "reuinion" DVD covers all of their best Stray Cats hits, and what was so surprising was how incredibly tight they sounded afer all these years. I would even go as far as saying they sounded better than they did in the 80's! The bottom line is that if you want to see one of the best live Stray Cats shows, get this DVD and you won't be disappointed!
THIS IS HOW IT IS DONE!.......2007-03-26
This is easily in my Top 5 concert DVD's ever and I've only had it for about a month. This Stray Cats show is one of the most amazing live shows I've ever seen. It's right up there with the Dave Matthews Central Park show as one of my favorites. You won't be disappointed with this DVD. It's how a guitar, stand-up bass, and stand-up drumming are done correctly.

Wake up call to guitar gods.......2006-08-16
Yes this dvd is everybit as good as the reviews say and i have lost count of how many times i have watched it.Where can you find a show that fits in a van and gives you that big a sound with 3 boys that play with more passion than that? After seeing this dvd it has reminded me how bad popular music has gotten. If you have young aspiring musicians in your family than you must buy this for them to see. This is a rock show!Featuring.....wait for it....PURE TALENT,no fancy lighting,no big video images on a screen,no pyro show, just hard work, dedication, passion and TALENT!Brian started learning guitar at the age of 8 and he was showed the world does not revolve around the power chord. This dvd is so good that at the age of 40 it has made me pick up the guitar and put some hard work and passion into mylife. If that rubs off on your children after giving them this than it could be the best money spent.I smile everytime i look in my rearview mirror and see my 7 year old singing "Mystery train kept a rollin".Maybe there is a future for music eh?? Enjoy!
