Very good value.......2006-11-15
I bought this DVD and I am satisfied with the overall value.
Picture quality is OK. It is in standard format, but when I set my TV to panorama mode, the picture looked almost like wide-screen format. So, if your TV supports panorama mode, you shouldn't be concerned with the standard format of the DVD. Picture looks dark and dull in many places, but it is acceptable, though.
It has 4 chapters, Aquarium 1, 2, 3 and Bonus. They are all equally good. It also has two sound tracks - they call them aquatic and ambient.
Overall, my rating is high due to the price it is selling for.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible.......2006-10-21
I bought pretty much all of the Aquarium DVD's on Amazon, and this has to be one of the worst. It has two Aquariums... ugly, and not much variety for the price. Instead if you have to have one, get yourself the "Ambient Water" with more than 6 Aquariums or one of the other DVD's instead.
This was a complete rip-off at $20.99!
2 NICE NATURAL AQUIARIUMS WITH LOTS OF COLORFUL FISH.......2005-10-14
This DVD has 2 beautiful natural looking aquariums that look more like the great barrier reef with natural coral than the typical man-made looking aquarium dvds. There are a lot of colorful fish swimming - blue parrot, yellow, gold and more. The 2nd aquarium is a close up shot of the first, so the fish are much bigger. Both have relaxing music soundtracks that allow you to drift away or all natural bubbling sounds. They both have 20 minute auto loop for continuous play too.

Don't buy this one!!.......2007-04-21
This is not what you might expect. I expected to get aquarium sounds, bubbles, water pump, etc. This has the funkiest sound that sounds nothing like an aquarium. I don't recommend buying this dvd, you will end up throwing it away like I did.

Hi there! I'm Frank, and I'll be taking over for Zaggy today while he catches the arenaball game down at the tank. Today I'll be reviewing this here video aquarium DVD, which my dad picked up some time back along with a really nice high-definition TV. I must say, the DVD, combined with the sharpness of the TV he got, made dad's little "aquarium" look surprisingly realistic. So realistic, in fact, that when I saw the thing playing on the new set for the first time, I thought it was an actual aquarium he'd just bought! 'Course, I realized my mistake a bit too late when the fish food I poured into the vents shorted out the set and voided dad's warrantee. Now I have to find a new place to live...

A waste of money. Very few fish - single tank in each of two segments. A High school kid could do better. You would be better off buying "Aquaria - The Complete Aquarium Collection" for about the same amount of money. Also, read the customers' reviews not the reviews by those involved with this project. I am very disappointed.

I ordered this video expecting a variety of aquariums and fishes. This is shot from a single aquarium which has only a few fishes. It looks like the video is shot using a tripod from an aquarium which any kid can do. The video is just converted to a DVD format(The print on the Disk says that). For this money it is a real waste for home viewing. May be good for TV/DVD sales shops for display purpose.
