Disney Princess Sing along volume 2.......2007-01-20
Item arrived when seller said that it would. It was in great condition. Thanks.
Disney Princess Sing Along Songs, Vol 2.......2006-07-26
I gave this to my 4 year old granddaughter who absolutely loves it and sings and dances with it.
The Best Volume of the 3 Princess Sing Alongs.......2006-05-02
Very much worth the money. Do not buy any other volume of Princess Sing Alongs or even the Princess Story line of movies. This dvd has a few songs from some sequels: Little Mermaid 2 and Return of Jafar, but it has all of the original Princess movies represented - except Aladdin. "Kiss The Girl" is in here from Little Mermaid. The other Princess Sing Alongs have many songs from sequels. So if you want to give yourself to the brainwashing marketing program of Disney - Buy the other Sing Alongs or the Princess Stories.
The DVD has an auto-repeat function if you need to get a lot done (meaning - do housework while your princess is glued to the TV). (I think it's 40 minutes or so without repeat).
AWESOME DVD!!!!
Disney Princess Sing Along Songs-Enchated Tea Party 2.......2006-01-20
My daughter is 3 and loves to watch the sing alongs. She sings and knows every word now!! We have to take Disney Princess Sing Alongs vol 1 & 2 even when we go in the van. They have taught her some words while highlighting them when singing. She says "That word is ? from my singing movie." I highly recommend vol 1& 2.
Great songs for all generations.......2005-10-08
I hate to put on a full length movie for my four year old, so these 45 minute sing alongs are great! And if you love all the Disney princess movies you will love this sing along. When you hear the songs it will take you back to childhood. My daughter loves to sing to the songs and dance through the room! I highly recommend this DVD!
Description
It's the dead of night in Boston Harbor and our intrepid reporters, Sarah and James, spot colonists disguised as Mohawk Indians sneaking aboard British ships and dumping tons of tea overboard. This act of defiance against the British authority is a defining moment of the American Revolution. It's then on to Lexington and Concord, where citizens calling themselves "Minutemen" take up arms against the powerful, experienced British army of "redcoats." Outnumbered and outgunned, the Minutemen refuse to back down, and soon the evening's silence is shattered by the "shot heard around the world." On the village green in Lexington, the first shot of the Revolutionary War has just been fired!

Great way to intrdoduce history to kids!.......2006-04-28
We bought these for my daughter because she enjoyed the show on PBS. I have been using them in my second grade classroom to introduce the AMerican Revolution to my students. I find them to be a great way to do this. They present what can be a very confusing topic in an easy to understand, kid friendly way. I find that the children love the theme song. The show also pauses briefly at particularly exciting parts and shows a "frozen photograph" of the scene with some suspenseful music, before continuing. It's very effective. My students, who claim to be "too big for cartoons" groaned today when I had to stop it because we had to go somewhere and begged "are we going to get to see the end?" Pretty good endorsement!
Extras are included on 1, maybe all 3.......2005-07-08
Despite what the previous reviewer said about all 3 DVDs in this series, I purchased Give Me Liberty at a store and it included all the Continental Cartoons, Biographies, Now and Then extra features. You just had to look for them in the Bonus menu.
While I can't prove it, I suspect all these bonus features are also on the Boston Tea Party DVD as well, but seperated out as Bonus Features. That is a standard way DVDs are set up, as opposed to how tv shows are broadcast.
FABULOUS show............2004-09-08
.....but the DVD collections turned out to be horribly disappointing. My rating is not directed at the show. It is directed at the DVD series itself. Someone really dropped the ball on what could have been a fabulous dvd collection.
So far there are Volumes 1, 2 & 3. Each volume includes five "playing cards" of George Washington, Phyllis Wheatly, Abigail Adams, John Paul Jones & Ben Franklin. This is a fabulous idea..BUT the problem is that the five playing cards are all the same in each volume. So now my daughter has three sets of the same cards. This makes absolutely no sense...
As far as the episodes, each DVD Volume includes three episode but the episodes are not set up the way they are on television. The episodes cut out the "Liberty News", "Now & Then" & "Continental Cartoons". Not having them including in each episode takes away from the show. Instead of having them in the show the way they should be, they are included as bonus features.....And the Continental Cartoons segment where you "Guess This Person". You have to use the DVD remote to access the three clues....But the problem I am having is this "game" doesn't work correctly and out of the three clues, I can only access the first one. Leaving the other two clues inaccessible.....?
VOLUME 1 - The Boston Tea Party (The Movie)
This DVD included episodes The Boston Tea Party, The Intolerable Act & Shot Heard Round the World. There is no "closing credits" to the first episode, no "intro & closing credits" to the second episode and no "intro" to the third episode. All three episodes run together like a "movie". And of course do not include the Continental Cartoons, Liberty News & Now & Then.
VOLUME 2 - Give Me Liberty
This DVD includes episodes Liberty or Death, Common Sense & Not Yet Begun To Fight. These episodes were not set up like a "movie" such as the first volume. And each episode actually has the introduction and closing credits for all three episodes. But or course it lacks the Continental Cartoons, Liberty News & Now & Then.
VOLUME 3 - The First Fourth of July
This dvd includes The First Fourth of July, New York, New York & One Life To Live. All episodes are set up the same way as Volume 2. But the problem with Volume 3 is that somewhere between Volume 2 & Volume 3, other Liberty's Kids episodes are missing. I have no idea how many they skipped going from Volume 2 to Volume 3. That BIG flaw prompted me to write a review of this DVD collection...For Shame DIC. The Liberty's Kids series deserves far better then what you have done with it in the DVD collection...
General Mills cerel came with a free DVD of two Liberty's Kids episodes. The Midnight Ride & The Turtle. BOTH of these episodes were issued on the DVD the way that they were televised on TV. Both episodes had the Continental Cartoons, Liberty's News & Now & Then. Which should have been the case with these volumes but was not. Where is the COMMON SENSE DIC.

Customer Reviews:
Great concept, lacks audiovisual quality.......2007-05-22
Great example of acting out etiquette for young girls in an entertaining way. Unfortunately when the sound and lip movement don't match up it reminds me of a bad kung foo film. And sometimes it is not very clear--sort of a static noise. I thought the concept was great and done well with lots of dress up, good information...but I felt like I was having to work just to understand what was being said.
Wonderful, positive and educational.......2006-06-29
This was too long in coming. I watched it prior to giving it to my neice and I was thrilled something like this has finally come out. It teaches little girls how to always be nice and they learn manners at the same time. I used to have tea parties when I was a child and I still remember them. Whoever watches this will surely take the positive with them through life. A+++
A 'must watch' for all age groups.......2006-06-26
I watched this with my two granddaughter's (age 3 & 6) in mind. The DVD was perfect for them but also for my other three grandchildren and all three of my children. As my daughter said, this is even applicable to the 'work situation' as the matter of 'introductions' was covered so well.
Professional, educational, definitely a great quality effort that is worth your time and money. This DVD should be in every school or day care in America! Well done! Anticipating release of Volume 2!
Outstanding!!!!!.......2006-06-18
What a relief! Finally,a dvd out there teaching and lillustrating how to blossom from a "little girl"into a "little lady".....My wife and I bought our daughter's Girl Scouts team,(25 MEMBERS)a copy. What a treasure and a pleasure to give such a unique/helpful gift. Many thanks to the creator!
Fun and Easy to Watch.......2006-06-18
I bought this for my 2 nieces as gifts and was I glad. The
education value along with it being so much fun was A plus.
I think with society today, there seems to so little
time for parents to take the time to teach these much
needed skills. Some of the tea party do's and don'ts
was even somewhat educational for me. A great tool and
it takes so little time. I can't wait for the other volumes,
so I can collect them all. What a great gift.

Excellent video collection with nice production values.......2007-06-27
I am a huge Tea Party fan, though have never been able to see any of their videos, since they're not quite so well known here in the USA. I came across this DVD, with an extremely reasonable price, and it is well worth ever penny. I love almost all the videos (image quality is great throughout, but I think the quality of directors varied a little), was quite surprised that there were as many as there were (even for some songs which I wouldn't have expected to get a video), and all around enjoyed it and have rewatched it several time. My only complaint is that there is nothing newer to include songs that have come out since "Tangents."
Illuminations!.......2007-02-09
What a great DVD the music sounds awesome and there is all kinds of interesting information on the band. The videos are also very entertaining.
The Tea Party Fan's Necessity.......2005-07-27
If you're a fan of The Tea Party this is a must have. Such a complete retrospective of videos is very valuable in respect to tracking the evolution of the band, and video trends in genreal.
Every music video DVD compilation should be this good.......2004-12-27
The driving force behind the Tea Party, Jeff Martin, may very well be the spiritual lovechild of classic rock icons Jim Morrison and Jimmy Page and as such your tolerance for the Tea Party is very likely dependent on how many times you can listen to Led Zeppelin's "Kashmir" played consecutively before either selecting another track from Led Zeppelin's "Physical Graffiti" album or choosing to do anything at all else that may avail itself at the time.
The Tea Party, while being a certainly competant group of musicians, are hardly innovative or even remotely original on the music scene. They are clearly a band formed 10 years after their time, in that they would have been most at home going toe-to-toe with Whitesnake in the '80's as being the best Led Zeppelin tribute act ever to score a major recording contract.
Having said all that, it has to be said that these guys know how to market a video compilation DVD. This is an amazing collection of videos. There are multiple audio choices, ranging from the bare bones 2.0 stereo option to the 5.1 surround sound to the DTS 5.1 option to the relatively unheard-of "band commentary" track that allows for band insight for each video included in this collection.
Considering how many successful bands have made their careers via video since 1981 (Duran Duran, anyone?), it is unbelievable how few bands have decided to release compilation DVD's without commentary tracks. The "making of" featurette that is also included with this collection is also particularly insightful and entertaining, and the overall lasting impression I have of this band (whose 1997 album "Transmission" is one of my favorites of the entire decade) is that they obviously appreciate their fans and want to release the best possible package for their benefit.
The Tea Party make good videos and they obviously had a lot of input regarding the release of this DVD. I can't help but wish them the best of success, but this disc is best recommended for die-hard fans of the band; the lack of variety in the Tea Party's overall sound makes it difficult for me to recommend the DVD to anyone who isn't already a fan of the band.
The Illuminating Tea Party.......2003-11-20
Released in conjunction with their "Tangents " cd, "Illuminations" is the very first DVD compilation from Tea Party. The fourteen tracks on this disc comprise the major label video history of the trio, including the Australian-only vid for "Shadows On The Mountainside", which was previously available as part of the computer portion of "Alhambra".
This is truly a fan's treat as the extras on the dvd include band commentaries, a discography, lyrics & biographies, and an audio- only option. Options also include a choice of 2.0 stereo sound, DTS, or 5.1 Dolby surround sound to enhance listening enjoyment.
While long-time fans may be disappointed that the vid for the indie single, "Let Me Show You The Door" wasn't included, the disc more than makes up for it by adding behind the scenes coverage of the making of the video for "Walking Wounded". The video history of Tea Party is available now and is truly an illuminating experience.
