I am a collector of music DVDs, and this is probably the best one I've ever seen. It is very thorough, and covers just about everything the band has done since the release of their cd, Exit Through Fear, until the release of The Sound That Ends Creation. This dvd has countless different sections. Society 1's first record breaking suspension show in 2004 is provided in its entirety. If meathooks in flesh isn't for you, I'd skip this section... It is quite graphic, but the performance is phenomenal, and it is quite interesting to watch. Another live show is also on this DVD. Next is "One Way To Hell," a documentary section. This is raunchy, in your face and hilarious at the same time. It contains the classic "I'm a rock band, and here's what we do while we're touring!" scenes, but with a bit of a twist. Matt Zane, being a former porn director has incldsed some of the more "intimate" encounters with fans within. It is censored to some degree, but definitely not kid-friendly. Interesting nonetheless. There are some more behind the scenes sections, including the making of the "Nothing" video, where Matt Zane makes history, being the first musician to be suspended in a music video. This was also his first suspension. Gore warning ahead, more flesh being pierced by meathooks. All of society 1's music videos from "Exit Through Fear" are on the dvd as well. Those are very interesting. In the bonus features section, there are performances of the opening acts at the suspension show in 2004. One is a suspension performance group, and another is a BDSM skit. All in all, this dvd features a vast array of scenes of society 1. The live performances documented within are insane. Matt Zane assaults people taunting him, and some scenes of that are simply hilarious. Overall, this DVD has a lot to offer to fans of Society 1.
