This is a good beginner video that covers several percussion instruments. The presenter is an effective instructor but I could have done without some of the corny, new-agey stuff that comes up in a few places. In any event, you'll certainly have enough info so that you can go to your local park and jam out with all the other hiipies :-)

I loved Drumming for Health and Happiness! Jim helped me get drumming in less than 20 minutes! Since watching the DVD I purchased a drum, and now I include drumming as a part of my personal stress reduction and have attended drum circles. Jims style of teaching is easy and fun. I highly recommend this DVD for any one interested in drumming for fun, health and happiness!
