According to the A.C.Nielsen TV ratings "Celine Dion:A New Day" (CBS 3-25-2003)was the second most watched concert special of the 2002/03 TV season with a 9.1 rating and 13.8 million viewers.The special marked the beginning of her Colosseum at Caesars Palce in Las Vegas concerts. According to Pollstar during 2003/2004/2005 Dion played 454 shows and earned $242.2 million.
The most watched concert special was "Cher:The Farewell Tour" (NBC 4-8-2003) with an 11 rating and 16.6 million viewers. The North American portion of Cher's Farewell Tour played 280 shows and earned $194.7 million, she did an additional 45 shows Worldwide which are not counted in that earnings tally.
Third most watched:Faith Hill (NBC 11-27-2002) 6.5 rating and 11.3 million viewers. Also during the 2002/03 TV season:"An Evening with the Dixie Chicks" (NBC Dec 2002) 11.1 million viewers, Paul McCartney (ABC 11-27-02) 5.3 rating and 8.1 million viewers,Bruce Springsteen (CBS 2-28-03) 3.7 rating and 5.4 million viewers and "U2 Beautiful Day" (CBS 11-29-02) 2.2 rating and 3.6 million viewers.
The Highest earning tours according to Billboard Boxscore:Rolling Stones 1994/95 "Voodoo Lounge" tour $320 million. 2- Rolling Stones 2002/03 "Licks" tour $299.5 million from 113 shows. 3- U2,s 2005/06 currently running "Vertigo" tour $260 million from first 90 shows. 4- "Cher:The Farewell Tour" and Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band 2002/03 "Rising" tour $221.5 million from 121 shows.

Wouldn't it be nice if this was a collection of all her cbs specials?? It most definatly doesn't sound like the A New Day special...speaking of a new day, they promised a release of the show with a bonus dvd entitled a day in the life of celine, it said so on the one year one heart dvd, it was supposed to be released fall 2004..obviously it wasn't.

I have this concert on VHS tape and DVD for personal home-viewing (I did it myself) and I must say that it is one of her best concerts.

Hall and featured as guests Nsync. I believe this is the one.
In the audience you can see actresses Jane Seymour and Sophie Marceau on two closeups.

I taped that one on TV but accidentally erased over it.
