Awesome DVD.......2005-02-01

This is utterly awesome. The scenery and photography is beautiful - the skating is graceful and appropriate for the setting. Also amazing is the background work that went into making this video - you can only speculate on all the logistics involved.

Beutiful, but not as good as the orginal broadcast.......2002-11-22

Although the video is well-made the music / sound quality is not what it should be. In the original broadcast the skaters skated silently to the music. In the video and dvd (I have tried both) the creators have seem to have added in the sound of the skates on the ice. These sounds are not quiet whisphers, they are loud scraping sounds that destroy the effect of the music and the etheral quality of the performances. This video would rank five stars if not for this.

The pure sound, surrounding you, and the amazing grace of the performers, filling your eyes, everyone that owns a DVD player should own this disk to get a sense of the power of the format. beautiful skating with beautiful music..........1999-10-28

What a great combination of music and skating!! The audio/video quality is outstanding. The scenery was breathtaking especially when Jim Brickman played the piano on snowed field(or lake) in the sunset. I love Windham Hill music. This dvd has bunch of special features including two multiple angle tracks, which I liked very much. This definitely is worth buying for you and your family.

Water's Path - This dreamvideo was filmed primarily in California during the months of June and August of 1984. Featuring the music of Windham Hill artists William Ackerman, Scott Cossu, Daniel Hecht, Michael Hedges, Bill Quist, Shadowfax, Ira Stein and George Winston.

Western Light - Filmed during the months of June and August 1984 in the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Mesa Verde National Park and the Navajo Nation. This program reveals scenes of the lushness of California's summer accompanied by the music of Windham Hill artists, William Ackerman, Alex de Grassi, Mark Isham, Shadowfax, and Liz Story.

Winter - This program has been hailed as a natural moment so perfectly described that it will never be forgotten. Scenes captured in Colorado, Utah, Nevada and California during the months of December 1984 and January 1985 accompanied by the music of 12 Windham Hill artists.
