It is not often that you can see your favorite artists in concert. This live DVD allows you to enjoy Dee Dee's immense talent and charm. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I believe Dee Dee Bridgewater to be one of the finest jazz singers in the world. This DVD has such unbelieably bad sound quality. Whoever the technical engineer was on this project should be banned for life from future endeavors.

Dee Dee Bridgewater has been so underrated as a jazz singer that we look at her now and ask: where have we been to miss her previous works?! Well it really doesn't matter because this DVD helps us understanding how much she has worked to arrive at this point of vocal and interpretation excellency. This DVD features songs from composer Kurt Weil and she really sings and swings wildly (like in «The Saga of Jenny»)... or simply sings a ballad that makes us stop and stare. Look out for «Here I'll Stay». Don't think twice. If you are into real jazz, not smooth jazz, then Dee Dee is for you. She will offer you samba, tango, jazz, flamenco and mainly good music.
