Outstanding.......2007-07-16
I have been a Duncan Sheik fan since day one and purchased everything with no regrets. This DVD is great. He has a great backing band and they compliment his music nicely. His cover of Fake Plastic Trees by Radiohead is very good and even though it's the last song, you want to hear more. If you are a fan, there is no reason not to have it.
Good songs and good interview.......2007-07-12
Well put-together. Little bits of interview between the songs or you can watch the whole interview by itself. If you're a Duncan fan, this is a must. First-rate production quality, and the songs sound great even when turned up pretty high.

Danielia Cotton is GREAT!.......2007-09-08
I havent even seen this DVD. All I need to know is that it has Danielia Cotton performing live on it. I had never heard of her until last summer when she did a show in my city. I stopped by and was blown away how someone that good is just on their grind traveling doing shows, she should be all over the music charts. I am sad i didnt even know she was coming to perform in Philly, only an hour from me. I definately would have been there

My only complaint is that I could have done with more performance & less interview time on this DVD. I'm not at all familiar with Jennifer Glass and haven't yet watched her show. I bought this DVD soley because I got to see Danielia Cotton open for Living Colour in Nashville and was blown away by the stellar quality of her performance. If you ever get the chance to see her perform, even if it requires a couple of hours of travel time each way, don't pass up the opportunity. I've been anxiously waiting for the chance to experience her show again.

Having only heard clips of David Poe I bought this and it is excellent. There is a cross of many styles of music that are woven in with each other producing music that is a little unexpected at times. This is a welcome change to what's mainly out there and he plays it very well. David Poe's lyrics are in itself interesting, haunting, sad, happy, hopeful and hopeless at times and he pulls it off and doesn't apologize for it. It's not what you hear on the radio but that is what many of us are looking for these days, I know I am. Duncan Sheik joins him for a couple of songs at the end and they are excellent and end the DVD nicely. There is also a seperate interview with him that is very good and gives a little insight to his musings.
