Hot 'n Fluffy Review.......2007-09-16
Gabriel is absolutely hilarious! Such a wonderful comedian! I HIGHLY recommend this DVD!
A Great DVD for a Great Price.......2007-09-10
I've been a fan of Gabriel's for years and this special of his is fantastic. The special by itself is well worth owning, but fans of good special features and of stand up comedy alike will applaud the decision by the producers to include the performances of the other comedians who performed that night. I've been a fan of stand-up ever since I was a kid and I've attended numerous live performances. It was really nice to see Martin Moreno, Noe and Mando warm up the crowd before Gabriel came in for the kill. Buy this DVD and support Hot and Fluffiness!
What fat level are you?.......2007-09-09
Well this is a young guy with a huge future ahead of him. This guy is just plain funny. The first time I saw was on a Comedy Central presents and on Last Comic Standing. Gabriel is funny, his voices, his sounds and his honesty (most importantly) are the elements that will drive you to watch him over and over. Sometimes even pause the DVD cause you can't hear the jokes since you are laughing so hard. Trust me this a DVD worth watching and of course buying.
Gabriel should get 10 stars!.......2007-09-09
I'm so glad a DVD of this comic genius finally came out! We saw him live in Sacramento and he promised a hilarious story on the DVD and sure enough, it's the final joke, and truly, it was funny, huh?!! Love this guy!
Fluffy is great stuffy.......2007-09-06
Fluffy is a very funny and fun loving movie. Gabriel Iglesias is a very funny
up coming comic and has a lot of talent. I feel it is an excellent buy for those who love to laugh and for those who need a good laugh.

Film on a Boston stage in 1991, this concert film features the British comic in selected sketches from 10 years of performing and creating characters. Fans of The Thin Blue Line, in which Atkinson plays a British policeman, will be pleased, but Mr. Bean enthusiasts will be ecstatic with the handful of great Bean moments re-created for a live audience. A real treat for the Atkinson faithful. --Tom Keogh
Customer Reviews:
A good DVD version of Rowan Live.......2007-09-16
If you have seen the VHS version of this live show, you will love the DVD version. Despite the fact that this DVD version divides up the sketches into what they call "the real live show" and "extra sketches," (which I don't really know whether they were really extra sketches or they considered them extra sketches, even though on the VHS version, they all just appear together) the materials are really good. I liked the fact that it has an introduction with Rowan and his obsession over an American tuna sandwich, it was classic. The picture is really clear, it has a menu, and some facts about Rowan on the dvd extras, no behind the scene stuff (although I would highly prefer one), and the sound is just right.
If you like Rowan, his live show, or even his straight-man Angus Deayton, I highly recommend this DVD to you, it's a great addition to your DVD collection. Well, I hope this review helps.
Excellent 5-Star Performance, but A&E Still Hates the Hearing Impaired.......2007-09-12
Absolutely brilliant performance by Atkinson; this is a fantastic DVD. As noted by other reviewers, it has a plethora of skits, including both US and UK sets. I was ecstatic to finally get the Devil sketch on DVD, having not seen it in years. (Had the VHS but lost it to Katrina.)
Now, a big knock against A&E, enough to give the release itself zero stars (I wish Amazon allowed for multiple ratings, so we could rate the performance separate from its media presentation). A&E apparently hates the hearing impaired. For years they have released countless shows on disc without any form of closed captioning or subtitles. What's mind boggling about that is, in many cases, the captioning is available to them, but they opt not to use it, instead "cleaning" the footage of such encoding. (In fact, A&E television programs are almost always captioned.) I can't fathom why, but it does result in lost sales.
I'm not deaf, but I do have a hearing problem. I overcome it with hearing aids and a good speaker system on my video, but I rarely buy A&E releases; I either rent them or wait for their appearance on TV. But I've bypassed buying scores of A&E releases -- everything from the entire release sets of Poirot to Jeeves & Wooster to Space: 1999 -- for lack of any form of captioning and/or subtitles.
FWIW, I have contacted A&E about it; the polite response was that the company did not feel their normal viewership/customer base needed captioning or subtitles to justify the additional cost.
Sorry for the rant. 5 stars to Mr. Atkinson and a superb performance; 0 to A&E for another shaft to the hearing impaired.
Contains All the Skits US & UK!.......2007-08-14
Some may be wondering, I know I was. This edition contains the US version, which ends with the drum skit which is not in the UK version, But the DVD also contains as Bonus Features the skits that were in the UK version but not on the US. So it's the best of both worlds!
I'd seen the US version long ago on television, then managed to aquire a copy of the UK version, not knowing they were different, and I've thought I've been dreaming the drum skit all this time. It's nice to finally have everyting in a nice DVD presentation. This is one of my favorite comedy DVDs.

Recorded and broadcast live from New York City's Broadway Theater at the culmination of his historic 2002 sold-out tour, the Robin Williams "Live on Broadway" DVD finds the Oscar-winning actor/writer/comedian returning after 16 years to his stand-up roots to deliver what the Washington Post calls "...in its madcap way, a seminal cultural event."
"A report on the planet and a report from the planet for those watching from outer space," this DVD puts you front row at the comedy event - where "Williams pranced, flounced, minced, pounced, zigzagged, hip-hopped, whirled and twirled, talking nonstop about everything from surgically enhanced breasts to the great anthrax scare."
"Live on Broadway" captures the manic comic energy of Robin Williams in full hurrican force.
As First Seen on HBO.

Sharper and deeper than Robin Williams's previous road material, Live on Broadway is a mature comedian's view of all things to do with power, prejudice, and paranoia in the 21st century. On the anthrax scare of 2001: "The Senate cleared out of their building but told the rest of us, 'Get on with your normal lives!'" On his solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict over Jerusalem: "Time share!" On the pitfalls of America's deepening alliance with Britain: "The House of Commons is like Congress with a two-drink minimum." A viewer may have to slog through Williams's tedious breast fetishism, but patience is quickly rewarded with bitchy takes on Martha Stewart facing prison, solid satire about French existentialist judges at the Olympics, and subversive op-eds about the Bush administration's inability to clarify terrorist threats to the public ("Has the CIA become the Central Intuitive Agency?"). --Tom Keogh

Side splittingly funny.......2007-08-26
Robin Williams at his best. I have watched this many times since I have purchased it and it never gets old.
Robbie rules!.......2007-08-25
Great show from the greatest comedian! I laughed the entire show through - only one thing could have brrn better: to be there on Broadway.
Pricing? Cheap, even with the shipping to me in Sweden.
Shipping? Fast, to be from US to Sweden.
Laugh your butt off funny .......2007-08-13
I am biased--Robin is my most-favorite comedian and has been since the days of Mork. I love him and am totally jealous of the way his mind works.
He is simply amazingly brilliant and this show is excellent. Robin cuts right to the essence of whatever situation he's talking about--sex, politics, war, relationships, etc. and smacks you in the face with the hilarious truth about it.
Even at middle-age, Robin has boundless energy and rapid-fire synapses as he leaps from one great bit to another.
This show is over way too soon--you'll want Robin to keep making you laugh!
Hold your applause please........2007-08-11
I am a big fan of Robin Williams - his stand-up and movies. But this DVD was not up to his usual standards. It was from the early 90s, but I don't know how that would be detrimental. It just wasn't up to par. Sorry, Robin. But I'm still a fan.
The Hairiest man alive is, coincedentally, the funniest man alive........2007-05-14
This is most likely the second funniest performance I have ever watched. It's amazing that this man can sweat through an hour and a half of constant hilarity. The noises reel made my stomach hurt. On a whole, this is good for anyone who likes to bellow like a charging rhino, or just laugh a lot.
Description
Katt Williams, who got his big break as the scene-stealing, fast-talking pimp Money Mike in the film Friday After Next, currently plays "A Pimp Named Slickback" on the Adult Swim animated TV series The Boondocks and appears in MTV's Nick Cannon Presents: Wild `N Out. Not only is he one of today's fastest-rising actors, he's also one of the hottest comedians. Returning to his hometown of Cincinnati, Williams says and does exactly what he feels, provoking nonstop laughter on everything from sex, relationships and parenthood to his shattered L.A. illusions. Williams connects with his audience like few other comedians as he pimps out some street-savvy advice and outrageously funny observations.

Katt Williams.......2007-08-27
I received my DVD sooner than expected it's everything I thought it would be and more, great deal!!!
Not as good as his 1st DVD.......2007-07-16
I love Katt Williams, but I was a little dissapointed that 75% of this material is the same as in his other DVD. And I don't care for the amature camera shooting as well. I had to give it 3 stars because of KATT, but if u own the other DVD, pass on this one.
Katt Williams: Live.......2007-06-13
I had a ticket to see Katt Williams perform. I had never heard any of his work so this dvd gave me an opportunity to get a flavor for his work. The dvd was very good.
Katt Williams Still Lives.......2007-06-08
Unfortunately, I saw Katt's Pimp Chronicles on HBO first and fell in love with this comedian. The sharpest I've seen in a long time. So when I saw his Live, I was a bit disappointed because I was looking for it to be in the same vain. The comedy itself was unpolished as well as the style of the video. I am still a HUGE fan of his and will follow his career until the end. I'm giving this DVD a B- and Pimp Chronicles an A++.
Katt Williams Live.......2007-05-13
I have really enjoyed this dvd it is full of laughter, I love Katt Williams.

When Seinfeld wrapped up its ninth and final season in the spring of 1998, the popular show's namesake and cocreator decided to offer a symbolic gesture to his fans. Taped for HBO in August 1998, on the final date of Jerry Seinfeld's tour appearances at New York City's Broadhurst Theater, I'm Telling You for the Last Time presents the standup comedian's so-called "final" standup, or at least his final tour with the standup material that made him famous. The video opens with a great prologue in which Seinfeld's old material is literally laid to rest, with many of Seinfeld's comedy colleagues in attendance at the "funeral." (Jay Leno is there, but David Letterman is conspicuously absent, and while it's a bit self-congratulatory to show Seinfeld's fellow comedians fighting like vultures over his abandoned jokes, it's worth it just to see Garry Shandling pilfering from the catering table like a homeless intruder.)
Whether he's talking about airline flights, cab drivers, or memories of Halloween and an ill-fitting Superman costume, Seinfeld's observational humor is as timeless and sharp as the day he first performed it. Even the most familiar routines (such as the one about pharmacists with a superiority complex) are like old friends who still haven't overstayed their welcome. Seinfeld's delivery is polished to a shine--he's a consummate professional--and an impromptu Q&A with his appreciative audience demonstrates that he's equally adept with a fast and witty comeback. This performance certainly wouldn't be the last we'd see of Jerry Seinfeld, but from the perspective of phenomenal fame and fortune, it's a fitting farewell to the classic "bits" that took him to the top. --Jeff Shannon

Brilliant Timing and Comedy.......2007-05-28
I think People sometime's forget just what a brilliant comedian Jerry Seinfeld really is. The television series was remarkable and the best ever, in my opinion. This movie; Jerry Seinfeld Live on Broadway: I'm Telling You for the Last Time, reminds us that the show was based on material that Jerry came up with. I have had the pleasure of seeing Jerry twice in Sacramento, California. He is brilliant with the most impeccable timing I have witnessed. This movie captures Jerry at the peak of his performing prowess with timeless material that serves as a testament to his sharp wit and billiant comedic mind. 5 Stars!
A must have for any stand up comedy fan!.......2007-04-10
Whether you are a Seinfeld fan or not, this is a MUST HAVE! You will laugh from beginning to end and be able to watch it over and over and it only gets funnier every time you watch it. Jerry Seinfeld's clever and witty outlook on normal life scenarios provides humor that any person could relate to. If I ever lost this video, I would run right back out and buy it again just to be sure that I had it at my disposal when I needed a laugh. I enjoy showing it to others who have never seen it and watching them crack up laughing as it is always a good time.
Hilarious.......2007-04-07
Everyone will find something hilarious about this stand up routine. Just buy it.

Jerry Seinfeld has alot of talent and charisma. If you liked the show Seinfeld then you will love this DVD. You wont be dissapointed. You want something to make you think and laugh out loud, then this is for you:)

Zach Galifianakis' stand-up comedy DVD spoofs the classic recorded stand-up performance film format by interjecting road trip footage of Zach and buddy in their red VW bus, and fake interviews with Zach's fake brother, "Seth," between his live stage bits. The splintered, slackerish feel that this editing lends the film reinforces Galifianakis's cool, enigmatic stage presence. Galifianakis' self-deprecating, sensitive guy-persona suits his love of deadpan one-liners in the tradition of Steven Wright. Sketches of the forgetful vegan who accidentally eats meat, or the pretentious illiterate who indignantly proclaims that he can't read, satirically poke fun at the self-righteous. Cut to a shot of the comedian's bus broken down off the freeway, then back to stage, where Zach riffs on his failed efforts to barter jokes for a fixed vehicle. Some segments, such as when Seth confesses his brother's affinity for making homemade ecstasy, are funnier than the Purple Onion performance. Like those on the Chappelle Show, these pre-taped skits rescue slow moments and elevate the stage act into more heavily crafted commentary. Graced with a dry wit, Zach Galifianakis, the self-professed "man who is bored by everything," won't bore lovers of good sarcasm. --Trinie Dalton
Description
Zach Galifianakis started his so-called career in back of a hamburger joint in New York. Well-known and loved by the Comedy Central crowd, he is one of the Comedians of Comedy, played director Alan Finger in the series Dog Bites Man and wowed the critics with his acclaimed VH1 show, Late World With Zach.
A master of the one-liner, with an absurd rambling style, Zach's sharp, resonating humor makes his show at the famed Purple Onion in San Francisco one of the funniest performances in recent comedy.
Off-stage, you will meet Seth Galifianakis, Zach's "twin brother." In an emotional interview with Brian Unger, he sheds some light on his "brother" Zach, revealing how he came to be who he is today.
Extras:
The Awkward Slapping Bit (outtake)
Zach Shaves

Customer Reviews:
This DVD sh** is his ticket out!.......2007-08-17
Zach Galifiankis is the truth.
His style of comedy isn't stand-up comedy, it's entertainment. Zach Galifiankis is one of very few comedians who can entertain you in ways funnier than 99% of the stand-behind-the-mic for 30 minutes on a Comedy Central special comedians. I'm not knocking those comics, some are very funny, but Zach's not a "Hey, my girlfriend is so different from me because.." kind of guy. He puts on a great show, and it's rare to find someone with the ability to take you on a ride like this because it's not the cookie-cutter comedy that TV networks throw sitcoms at.
His brother, Seth Galifiankis, is also hilarious here. Interview segments with NPR's Brian Unger (I know, what!?) are nothing less than brilliant, who else but Zach and Seth could pull the whole thing off? The outtakes and deleted scenes are a must, they're not just extra content to fill up the disc. Replay value on both the main feature and the extras is very high.
Buy two, because if you're like me, you'll immediately want to give this as a gift to let others experience it. For $12.99, you shouldn't think twice about buying this.

Good comedy, cool cinematics.......2007-06-09
The stand-up portion of this DVD was funny, I wouldn't quite rate it 5/5 partially because of a rather unsuspecting use of cursing in contrast with his Comedy Central Presents shows. Still Zach is a very unique comedian that deserves some acclaim. There were also other segments to this DVD that gave it almost a documentary feel, the interview with his twin brother Seth which was hilarious and the road adventures with his friend Joe was also great. Overall I think this is a great product for somebody looking for a breath of fresh air in stand-up, as long as a little bit of cursing doesn't bother you.
Not as good as other shows!.......2007-05-13
I have been a fan of Zach Galifianakis for a long time. Zach is one of my favorite comedians, and every other special of his I have seen I always have laughed uncontrolably. But with this DVD there were some really funny parts, but the rest of the DVD is not very funny at all. I would recomend that you save your money and not by this DVD, the laughs you get are not worth the money spent.
kinda rambling, kinda brilliant.......2007-05-13
Zach Galifianakis is one of those comedians who thrives in loose, intimate atmospheres, and Live at the Purple Onion is an excellent example of his art. I am familiar with his thing, as it were, and if you haven't heard of him, give this DVD a try, or cruise YouTube for some of his (fantastic) clips. Extra features on this concert DVD are highly entertaining, as well. A final aspect of Live at the Purple Onion I found rewarding is the insight to Zach's past, family, and hometown, and how those elements influenced his approach to comedy. Good stuff.
classic zach.......2007-04-10
if you're a fan of zach galifianakis, then you know to expect his absurd one liners. if you haven't seen any live shows of his besides his comedy central special, then you may not be familiar with zach's hilarious habit of abandoning his routine and fully engaging the audience. both of these talents are on display in his first dvd. also are hilarious fake documentary footage of zach's "twin" brother seth. Those interviews and the behind the scenes footage are great, but sometimes can be jarring when inserted into the standup footage. that's why i gave this dvd 4 instead of 5 stars. it was done by the same people who made the comedians of comedy, which was awesome as well but suffered from the same problem. all in all though, the dvd is incredibly funny and definitely worth it if you're a fan of zach's. hopefully we'll get a zach stand-up cd soon also!

Comedian Stephen Lynch brings his guitar, choirboy-sweet voice, and sardonic (often bawdy) songs before an appreciative audience in the wacky Stephen Lynch: Live at the El Rey. Setting the tone with "Not Home," in which Lynch testifies to the glories of pleasuring himself with his lover's undergarments, the comic digs an ever-deeper hole (in a good way, of course) with an ode to ugly newborns in "Baby," cheerfully recalls sexual abuse at the hands of a priest in "Priest," and caps the delicate "Love Song" with the blunt admission, "I have herpes." A ditty called "Superhero" makes a great centerpiece, in which Lynch sounds like a pre-school teacher invoking the marvels of such make-believe characters as "Awesome Man" and "Immigration Dude." (Lynch also does his impression of a bong during the bit.) Fellow funnyman Mark Teich joins Lynch on several tunes, including "D&D," an anthem to the geek universe of Dungeons and Dragons. --Tom Keogh

Awesomely funny........2007-09-16
This dvd is one of the most hilarious I've ever watched. I have about 75 comedy dvds and this ranks in the top 5 of my collection (yeah i know I have no life).
Stephen Lynch: Live At The El Ray.......2007-09-14
I'd never heard of this comedian until some one linked to one of his videos on an internet forum I moderate. He was so funny that I went looking for more of his stuff on Youtube. This guy is so funny that he had me in stitches, and I had to find out if there was a DVD available. There was, and it was well worth the money.
The only reason that I gave the video four stars, instead of five, was that one of the video available from Youtube was not on the video, even though this is the show from which it came. That would be his song Special Olympics.
Just be aware that if you are offended by jokes of a religious nature, or need your comedy to be very PC, this guy definitely isn't for you!
Hilarious Steven Lynch, and best DVD out there for now.......2007-08-23
Stephen Lynch has always been one of my favorite performers, and with The Wedding Singer: The Musical he has an even larger following now than ever.
I saw this tour in person a few years ago in Detroit. It's fun to watch it in a different venue with a different audience. All of the best "favorite hits" are here. "Lullabye" is in the additional materials.
Watching Stephen Lynch is like watching a big overgrown 15 year old who just delights in entertaining the audience around him and watching their reactions to his (often) dirty or double-entendre lyrics.
One warning and one observation: Make sure the young ones are not in the room while viewing - this is strictly adult fun and FAR from the squeekly clean Stephen Lynch from The Wedding Singer...and an observation: Stephen looks and sounds tired in this DVD - like the tour has gone on a bit too long. His voice isn't as clear as it is on other televised specials. Still, this is the best DVD out there for now (except for a short 20-minute Comedy Central iTunes download).
Stephen Lynch rules -- gotta stick up for us fellow Michiganders...
Stephen Lynch -Live at the El Rey.......2007-07-29
I, personally, did not care for Stephen Lynch's act. I thought the one about Special Ed was hilarious but nothing more made me laugh....unnecessary use of the "F" word.
stephen lynch live--rocks!.......2007-07-12
lynch is THE best! he's funny, has a great voice, and can play a mean guitar! one of the funniest dvds I've seen in a looong time.

very funny comediant.......2007-07-23
Pablo is so funny that after watching his video several times we still laugh our heads off. This performance is packed with great material. Even though he looks like a *%#@ing monkey, we love him.
Woo hoo.......2007-05-13
His comedy is right on, I first saw him on the Comedy channel and then on You Tube. I found myself playing his bits over and over for family and friends. Finally I decided I had to see his whole show, you will not be diappointed.
a kneeslapper.......2006-10-20
despite his rude sexual humor, Pablo is definetly one of the funniest guys in stand up comedy. His sound effects are legendary and his face expressions are hilarious! Great DVD, you will have fun listening to it.
Although Pablo isn't 100% funny throughout the whole show, he get's pretty much all of your attention anyways.
4 out of 5 stars, cuz I'm sure he can be even funnier! Other than that, great DVD!!!
Outstanding.......2006-03-12
Greate standup. For the price is just excelent you get a dvd and a cd. Pablo is hilarious and his impretions are probably the best thing on the dvd. If you don't like comedians that use a lot of profanity then probably this isn't for you. Great Buy.
Extremely Funny.......2006-03-04
All I got to say is this guy is hilarious! His ability to imitate people, music, and other sounds is what really makes him funny in my opinion. If you like laughing, then buy this dvd.

Bill Hicks's scathing, fearless standup comedy is on full display in Satirist, Social Critic, Stand-Up Comedian, the first official DVD release containing the late performer's work. Hicks, who died in 1994 at age 32, may not have been a total original; he's often compared to Lenny Bruce, as well as Sam Kinison and others, and he was hardly the first comic to talk about sex, drugs, politics, and religion, even if Hicks's takes on these matters are usually strikingly fresh. But there's simply no denying the unabashed, in-your-face power of these three early '90s performances, one each from Chicago, Montreal (entitled Relentless, this show originally aired on HBO), and London. Hicks is profane, to say the least, but never crude for its own sake, and certainly not stupid (we're not talking Andrew Dice Clay here). His humor is abrasive, passionate, shameless, provocative--calling non-smokers "obnoxious, self-righteous slugs" is one of his milder observations--and it's delivered in riveting, almost preacher-like fashion, with a strong physical element. And anyone who doubts his impact, both during and after his short, turbulent life, need only watch "It's Just a Ride," the 40-minute documentary accompanying the three live shows, in which both family and famous (Jay Leno and David Letterman among them) comment on him and work. In the end, you realize that since his death, no comic has come along who can touch Bill Hicks. --Sam Graham

BILL HICKS - ON DVD AT LAST!
Bill Hicks Live is the first official DVD release from the legendary and beloved comedian.
Since Bill died in 1993, his work has reached a new audience and he has become a powerful cult figure. For these fans who never had the opportunity to see Bill in person, this DVD will be a revelation. The DVD captures Bill at his very best, with three of his legendary filmed performances:
"One Night Stand" from the Old Vic Theatre in Chicago (approx 30 minutes)
"Revelations" from the Dominion Theatre in London (approx 65 minutes)
"Relentless", Bill's breakout performance at the Montreal Comedy Festival (approx 70 minutes)
The DVD focuses on his incredible live act, with Hicks hilariously assaulting the stage and the audience with a non-stop cornucopia of insights into our twisted world; the government, the military, the police, religion, smoking, pornography, drugs and of course, for those of you who are getting antsy, a couple of dick jokes.
As a bonus, the documentary "Just A Ride" surveys Bill's remarkable career with insights from his peers; including Brett Butler, Eddie Izzard, Richard Jeni, Jay Leno, David Letterman and Thea Vidale. (approx 45 minutes)
Total running time: approx 3.5 hours of pure, unadulterated Hicks.

Without question, the most progressive comedic social commentator to have ever graced our presence. If you are not familiar with his work, you should definitely give him a listen. Why do the great minds always die so young?

Bill HIcks - one of the funniest adult commedians.......2007-02-07
I'm only sorry he isn't still around and touring. I'd like to hear what he'd have to say about these times.

Bill Engvall mines one of the classic veins of comedy--family life--on Bill Engvall: Here's Your Sign Live, and comes up with some fresh, funny spin on old gags. His general recommendation for surviving marriage: Relinquish power to wives; that way, one gets to be just a "guy" instead of nominal head of the household. One of the funniest bits concerns linkage of real and imaginary marital crimes. "'If you're lying to me about smoking,'" Engvall quotes his suspicious spouse, "'how do I know you're not sleeping with other women?' Not even Evel Knievel could have made that leap." On keeping sex fun after 21 years of domestic bliss: "As soon as I try something new, she's screaming, 'Where'd you learn that?!'" Engvall has some choice stuff about his kids, too, including a good story about traveling cross-country with his teenage son and stumbling into topless steakhouses. --Tom Keogh

Funny .......2007-08-12
The show is great and one of the funniest I have seen in a lot time. It is also something the whole family can watch. This is quite refreshing and also becoming rare in todays world.
Movie Review.......2007-07-23
The movie Bill Engval: Here's Your Sign Live. Is also a very good movie. Ever since I first saw him in the Blue Collar Comedy Tour movie, I have liked him ever since. I think that he is a very funny guy.
Hilarity in Everyday Life. .......2007-04-15
I like this comedian and giggled several times while watching this video. There are some great one liners here although a lot of his shtick about men is clichéd in my opinion. Many of his observations about marriage are accurate though. There's no shortage of married man who possess the exact same life he describes here. His send up of women's "intuition" was absolutely hysterical. That segment alone is the reason why I gave it four stars.
Title misleading.......2007-03-10
We thought we would hear more of Bill's well known "here's your sign" routine - what you get in this DVD is some stand up routines with the last 5 minutes or so "mentioning" the "here's your sign" lines ... very dissapointing. Would not recomend to those looking to here his well know routines.
Somewhat funny, although not his best material.......2007-02-07
I bought this DVD for my parents after having heard most of Engvall's audio material and was looking forward to sharing it with them. Although he does get into the "Here's Your Sign" stuff a bit, most of the DVD contains his sketches on sex and doctor's appointments. I was very disappointed, knowing the broad range of material they could have chose to make a DVD of, and I wouldn't recommend this DVD to anyone wanting a general taste of Engvall's style or content. I wish it would have more "everyday" humor instead of mainly bedroom-related jokes for a cheap laugh.
